Dr. Treadwell is a graduate of Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine (1993).
She worked in general practice for 2 years before entering an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The University of Illinois. She completed her residency training in small animal internal medicine at Purdue University in 1999. Dr. Treadwell moved to Shreveport and opened Shreveport Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2002 - the first Veterinary referral hospital in the Ark-La-Tex.
Her areas of special interest include endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disease, and hematology/oncology. She has extensive training in cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy, and cytology. In addition Dr. Treadwell believes in understanding all of a patient's medical problems and how they impact their quality of life.
She has 1 dog, Trixie and 5 cats (Greyson, Gabe, Sweetie, Sherbet, and Celtic).

SVIM and I have experienced many changes over the last 3 years. What has not changed are my business and personal core values: respect, empathy, knowledge, and integrity. I have been working relief work in primary care practices and performing ultrasound and consults as well. I am excited to announce that I have gone mobile and I am expanding my consulting services.
